Astonishing Speed! CloverGAME Suddenly Announces a New Title, Less Than a Month Until Release

CloverGAME's previous titles followed a fairly regular release rhythm, but the past three months have been quite quiet.

Just when we thought CloverGAME would go dormant for a while, the studio suddenly, without any warning, opened the official website for its seventh work, 《おしかけ奥様と、キミの嘘》. Even more surprising, the release date is the end of this month—August 28, 2026.

As for pricing, the standard edition is priced at 3850 yen, and the deluxe edition with a voice bonus item is priced at 4400 yen, both tax-inclusive.

Story Synopsis

Haruse Chiaki, the owner of the struggling used bookstore "Kotatsu-do," faces the moment of its imminent closure in despair.

At that moment, a mysterious beautiful girl appears before him—Shinohara Ren.

Ren says she can help Chiaki rebuild the used bookstore, but in exchange, she demands that Chiaki "marry" her.

She claims she must come to understand what true family bonds are. Pushed forward by Ren's forceful advances, Chiaki, though utterly bewildered, accepts this contract marriage.

And so begins a newlywed life that is somewhat strange and bizarre, aiming for a "perfect family."

Faced with Ren, whose common sense is different from everyone else's and who is always baffling, Chiaki feels troubled yet gradually finds himself drawn to her.

Notably, this title's art is handled by たけやまさみ, whose last involvement in art for a Gal title was more than 9 years ago.

The key visual also shows a clear improvement over this artist's past works, with softer and more delicate colors overall.
