Dual Perspectives + Time-Loop Mystery: Official Website Revealed for the Sequel to Return to Blue Whale Island!
Kichū Hyōgo recently opened the official website for 遥かなる円形世界, the sequel to their suspense horror title Return to Blue Whale Island. The title is still tentative and a specific release date has not been decided.
Notably, since the two works are connected, it is recommended to finish the previous title before playing this one.

Story Synopsis
In two cities, New York and Japan, two stories quietly unfold.
A detective and a girl—fates that should never have crossed are tightly bound by a forbidden device that can turn back time.
To reach the truth, they reset again and again without hesitation—even if, in the end, they lose everything...

Game System
In short: two offset storylines progressing in parallel + time-loop deduction with restrictions. The two routes are offset from each other in time and information, and must be gradually pieced together through loops and story progression.
The game is divided into Side A and Side B, advancing the main story alternately through the perspectives of two protagonists in two cities on different timelines.
Under certain conditions, time is rewound. But it is not all-powerful—the points in time you can return to gradually become restricted, and memory inheritance follows strict rules. Can you reach the truth across loop after loop?
Side A (New York Chapter): Urban Conspiracy
Brooklyn, New York. A mysterious figure—リラ—suddenly barges in before private detective 池田戦. At the same time, his client ウォルトン entrusts him with a mysterious device.
Before long, the illegal organization "バビロン," which is pursuing リラ, gradually surfaces, and its combatant カーランダー stands in the way of 池田 and the others. With Tio of the NYPD, his assistant 鯉, and Akira, the daughter of a billionaire—a group of companions with distinct personalities—池田 is drawn step by step into a massive vortex of conspiracy. What is ウォルトン's true purpose, the truth of the device, and the secret リラ is hiding?
Side B (Japan Chapter): Ghost Story Suspense
A regional city in Japan. Izumozaki Neneko, a high school girl with a hidden special ability living a quiet life, has her daily existence upended when a skeletonized corpse is discovered by Horikawa on her way to school.
The eerie marks left beside the corpse, the shadow of her mother who disappeared months ago, and an unsettling air creeping toward those around her. Neneko investigates the truth together with her older sister キサラ and her friends Niwa and Torako. It all connects to a past incident, and three suspects gradually come to light.
Main Characters

Game CG

The author, Kichū Hyōgo-sensei, is a one-man team handling both the scenario and the artwork, which gives this work a rough, highly personal visual style—though some less-than-rigorous plot setups inevitably break immersion.
These issues are unavoidable, but the flaws don't overshadow the merits. The previous title achieved high polish in atmosphere-building and overall story handling, and with it currently available for a single-digit price in the spring sale, that price is absolutely worth it for anyone who hasn't played it yet~
If you're interested in suspense, horror ghost stories, and time-loop works, and can accept this distinctive art style, then definitely keep an eye on this title!
