Story Synopsis
On the heights of Inamurazaki, at the top of three hundred stone steps, stands an old shared house called "Koganei-sou."
High schooler Yuto Koganei lives there with his grandmother Kiyo and younger sister Hina, protecting this house that still carries the presence of his late parents and grandfather.
The tenants Haru Aizawa and Kaede Nagase each carry their own concerns, yet their peaceful daily lives overlap here.
On an early summer day, a buyout offer with a price tag of "1,565,003,880 yen"—an eerily precise figure—arrives at their door. At the same time, a blonde girl,Ageha Kurosaki, moves in.
From day one, she displays an unconventional personality, "renovating the entire room at her own expense," but as life together begins, the tenants are quickly thrown into confusion—Ageha always drains the bathtub's hot water before and after bathing.
Moreover, she even tries to use money to resolve the troubles this behavior causes.
The residents of Koganei-sou, with wildly different values, keep growing in number.
A girl with "an astonishing appetite," an "extremely capable" older sister, and that "golden storm."
Before long, the shadows hidden in each person's heart, and the precious memories that have quietly slumbered in this house, will be uncovered one by one. Koganei-sou, having taken in Ageha Kurosaki, amid turbulence and friction... even time that had stood still begins to turn.
Moving past a past that cannot be forgotten, living in a present they don't want to forget.
This is a summer different from last year. After the storm passes, what the tenants ultimately find will be—

The production team is essentially the same as Sprite's previous title, so most people can probably guess how this one will turn out.
For the story, you can look to the previous title everlasting flowers, where the audiovisual presentation outweighed the scenario quality—this is Sprite's original "FILMIC NOVEL" format, and this title is roughly in the same vein.
Moreover, as this is Sprite's 15th anniversary title, there will be even more high-quality CG than the last one, which is certainly praiseworthy.
But is an all-ages short title in that "FILMIC NOVEL" style really what everyone wants to see? After coasting on its reputation for so many years, Sprite has truly mastered the art of defiance.
Interested readers can look forward to the character profiles to be revealed next~
