Purple software has officially announced that its new title 《マガルミナ》 will be released on June 26, 2026, built around spies × bombs × sweet deception. The standard edition costs 10,780 yen, the deluxe edition 17,380 yen, and the demo version and official page are already available.

Story Synopsis

April, in full spring bloom. In a quiet, peaceful port town, protagonist Fukudome Yamato arrives from afar to begin living alone in Japan.

Aside from being of mixed heritage, at first glance he seems like an utterly ordinary young man—

however—

"I always take the wrong turn"

"People often mistake me for someone else"

"Even the packages delivered to me turn out to be someone else's"

"My life has always been accompanied by all kinds of 'mistakes'"

Upon arriving in the town, he runs into a string of "unexpected incidents":

A princess of a certain country falls from the sky;

Due to a double booking on the apartment, he has to live together with a female spy;

He is enrolled in a school that wasn't the one he expected;

And he catches the eye of a suspicious classmate with a bit of a delinquent streak.

"……I just want to live a quiet life."

Though he complains, deep down he also feels a flicker of excitement at this noisy new life full of lies.

This is a cheerful story of "deceptive love," woven from lies and mistakes.

The protagonist is physically weak—no match for even a child, no matter who you compare him with.

To make life easier, he learned the art of 'trickery' from his parents.

He originally just wanted to live a quiet, stable life.

But because he constantly has to deal with the endless mistakes happening around him, he ends up being judged as 'an annoying guy' and 'a sore loser.'

メルヴィ・マルローゼ

CV: 虎瀬がお

A princess of a certain Eastern European country. Courteous in speech and manner, yet full of curiosity and drive.

She is both a mascot-like presence and a clumsy troublemaker.

Unconfirmed intelligence suggests someone is plotting to assassinate her, so the protagonist takes on the task of guarding her.

Incidentally, she does not slurp her ramen. "That's so mean, sob sob ><"

影宮　潤

CV: 猫田みけ

A spy girl (?)

Her identity was exposed by the protagonist by coincidence, which ended up turning into a cohabitation arrangement.

She secretly guards Princess メルヴィ in the shadows.

She falsifies her age and operates under the guise of a female student.

While her skills and mental fortitude are both first-rate, she is personally even better at physical activity.

Always caught up in the various "mishaps" occurring around the protagonist, she is a hard-luck soul.

ティナ・オーメン

CV: 逢真井もこ

A low-tier gyaru.

A classmate in the international department, and the daughter of a top executive at a chemical industrial conglomerate.

She loves Japanese period dramas and anime, and has a distinctive way of speaking.

Though she looks fashionable, that is her appearance after "debuting" on the occasion of studying abroad.

Inside, she still maintains "my flimsy last shred of dignity."

Well-versed in programming and machinery, her reason for studying abroad hides a secret.
