I Fell in Love with the Monster Who Possessed My Yandere Girlfriend? Liar-soft's New Title Coming Soon!

Liar-soft has announced that its new title 《誰ソ彼のシェイプシフター》 will be released on DLsite on March 27, 2026.

Story Introduction

The protagonist, Takenouchi Yoto, has just broken up with his gloomy yandere girlfriend, Kawamoto Chise, when a girl with an "exactly identical appearance" appears before him.

The girl calls herself "Shadow," an apparition capable of devouring and imitating others. She admits she devoured Chise, but promises to release her if Yoto will serve as her "temporary boyfriend" for a while and let her experience human life.

To save his ex-girlfriend, Yoto is forced to begin this cohabitation with a monster. Yet as they spend time together, Yoto discovers that this apparition called "Shadow" is actually gentler and more compatible with his soul than his temperamental original girlfriend.

Will he protect that bitter sense of human duty (saving Chise), or will he indulge in this fake yet perfect love with a non-human?

Amid the intertwining of desire and the uncanny, Yoto must make his final choice before the truth is revealed.

This setup is actually pretty interesting—it's déjà vu for certain doujin plots (lol)
