A Masterpiece for the Ages—Memories Off Is Going Female-Oriented?! The New MO Title Launches in 2026!

The official Memories Off Twitter account recently announced that 『メモリーズオフ 双想 Break out of my shell』, the FD of the series' 25th anniversary title 『メモリーズオフ 双想 ～Not always true～』 (MO9), will be released in early winter 2026 on three platforms—NS/PS/PC (Steam)—with support for both Japanese and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

Seeing that black-and-white promo art of four guys and one girl... have they dragged us bros into science ADV territory?

(Disclaimer: everything below is speculation; please refer to official announcements for the actual details.)

The one on the far left should be the MO legend Shin Inaho

The second from the left should be MO9's male protagonist Kazuki Aoi (久寿米木一葵)

The center position should be MO9's heroine Amanaha Nene (天羽宁宁)

The one on the far right should be 志仓千代丸 飛田扉

While these guesses remain uncertain, they are most likely characters who have already appeared in MO.

It's not like MAGES. has never done a female-oriented FD before, but considering the above and the celebratory illustration by Mutsumi Sasaki, it most likely won't be turned into a female-oriented work~

No further details have been announced yet, so interested friends may want to keep an eye out. With such a buzzworthy promo art piece this time, maybe they'll pull off something interesting~

Also worth mentioning: the Memories Off 25th Anniversary General Election is being held from November 19 to December 24, 2025, and is currently underway.

Each person can cast 1 vote per day for each of 3 characters among the total of 69 heroines and supporting characters—MO veterans, hurry over and campaign for your favorites!
