MELLOW's New Title 'True Colors' Delayed to Late December Release!

MELLOW announced that due to development delays, the release date of its latest title 'True Colors -memories of the abyss-' has been moved from November 28, 2025 to December 26, 2025.

Priced at 7,500 yen (tax included), the art quality is as good as ever, the scenario still carries that 垂花 flavor, and the demo version honestly looks quite good.

Story Introduction

Fukaishi Ruriiro, living in Tokyo, hears the sound of whales.

Outside the window is a world woven of deep blue and white. The summer heat, growing fiercer every year, makes even the cicadas' cries seem feeble.

Looking up at the sky from the air-conditioned classroom, the distance seems greater than ever before.

The summer of their third year.

He still devotes himself wholeheartedly to club activities; she frantically practices for her recommendation interview.

Everything is slipping away little by little. In half a year, their student life will come to an end.

This is the last—season of azure.

The realization that summer is approaching is frightening. That was the summer of last year—

His younger sister 'Rose' invited him to take part in a film shoot. Before he could refuse, she dragged him into filming together with two classmates.

'Rose, she's special.'

Under the brilliance of his genius sister, Ruriiro, a mere bystander, finds his transparent daily life gradually stirred with ripples as he spends time with 'Mizmoi' and 'Nagi'.

'Whether it's the sky or the sea—you only discover they're actually transparent when you get close.'

He begins to realize that the blue he mistook for transparency has been wrapping around him all along.

It was that kind of summer—

—and then, Rose disappeared.

MELLOW has also posted a full playthrough recording of the demo version on YouTube—how thoughtful of them, they really are so considerate!

We just hope that 垂花-sensei can hit the brakes on the story pacing this time, so the full version doesn't fast-forward straight into a wreck~
