A Game That Can Only Reach the Bad Ending? KEMCO's New Title "Ending the Happy Route" Launches in October!
KEMCO has announced that its new title "Ending the Happy Route" will release a game demo at TGS 2025. The game is scheduled for release on October 2, 2025, and is promoted with the tagline "breaking the dimensional wall × school story × memory inheritance." The Steam store page is now live, with Japanese/Chinese (Traditional) dual-language support at launch.
Story Overview
The protagonist, Akaba Hyoga, has had the constitution to see choice boxes since childhood. As long as he makes the right choice at fate's branching points, he can head toward a better future. —But one day, the situation changed. The correct options that should have existed were blocked by someone. All that was left for him were the worst possible choices. With the help of the player—that is, you—Hyoga will do everything he can to take back the correct choices and restore the world to how it was.
System Overview
Players can make choices at branching points, but the original choices have been blocked due to contamination. What kind of ending awaits after choices made against one's will?
By obtaining "kotodama" (spirit words), you can destroy the "cursed words" contaminating the options.
After reaching the endings of each route, Hyoga will entrust his memories to you, the player.
Please use the path map system to open the way for Hyoga on other routes.
Character Introduction
This setup of drastically overhauling the Bad Ending across multiple playthroughs is rather interesting, and the price is reasonable too: the physical edition is 3,960 yen and the digital edition is 3,300 yen, both tax-inclusive. No more needs to be said—hurry up and serve it up to everyone!
