This work is an adaptation of the short story collection 「Summer Pockets」ショートストーリー ～夏の眩しさの中で～, a side story to Summer Pockets released by Key in 2018. The scenario is handled by 新島夕, 魁, and ハサマ, with original art by Na-Ga, ふむゆん, 和泉つばす, and 永山ゆうのん, and music by 折戸伸治 and others. In addition to including all the content of the original story collection, this work adds some new content and features brand-new OP and ED songs.

The theme song "Luster piece" is performed by 鈴木このみ, written by 新島夕, and composed and arranged by 大橋柊平.
